Judy Sundayo, Ph.D. loves peace, joy, laughter and the company of friends. She has a bachelor’s degree, two master’s degrees and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology. Judy’s worldview, as well as her love of art and culture, has been shaped by personal and professional learning experiences garnered through study, travel, work experiences, and relationships. A former art major, Judy was the youngest student at the time to have a painting on exhibit at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.

Combining her interest in art and psychology, Judy enjoys using the expressive arts to help people uncover their potential. She began to uncover her own potential when she started writing poetry at the age of 11. Several of her works are published in poetry anthologies. She co-authored an award-winning poetry book entitled, The GUMBO Pot Poems with Alyce Smith Cooper and Jaime Jones in 2015. Judy has found that some of her greatest experiences in life have come from combining what she has learned in the field of psychology with the expressive arts. Her goal is to help people re-discover, re-invent and re-empower themselves through the written word, the spoken word and the visual arts.
