If the answer is yes, and if you reside in San Diego County,
you are invited to participate in the
61st Annual Local Author Exhibit
As the crowning event of the library’s Local Author Program, the Exhibit offers San Diego published authors an opportunity to present their work to a large audience of readers, publishers, fellow book people and all San Diego area residents. Your books will be on display the entire month of February 2027 in the beautiful San Diego Central Library @ Joan Λ Irwin Jacobs Common. There will be a special event to honor participating authors and to officially unveil the 2026 Exhibit.

Authors must register online before submitting their book
Authors may only submit one book per year
Additional books will be considered donations and given to the
Friends of the Library
