DESCRIPTION:Join African American Writers & Artists for an inspiring afternoon celebrating the creativity of youth artists \n\n\n\n\nJoin African American Writers & Artists for an inspiring afternoon celebrating the creativity of local artists during our 2026 Black History Month Art Contest Awards & Recognition Ceremony\, commemorating the 100-year anniversary of Negro History Week\, the foundation of Black History Month. \nAfrican American Writers & Artists (AAW&A) invites the community to join us for the 2026 Black History Month Art Contest Awards & Recognition Ceremony on April 11 from 3–5 PM at the Malcolm X Library. \nThis special event celebrates the creativity\, talent\, and cultural storytelling of the artists who submitted work for this year’s contest.
